Nike and Dutch label Parra as led by Pieter Janssen have announced plans for a new collaboration with plans this time to work off the SB Dunk Low silhouette.
Thus far, initial images of the Nike and Parra shoe reveal an all white shoe that receives a big boost of energy through a signature bold and bright Janssen color story and graphic, which are applied to the Swoosh, laces, heel tab and lining.
The shoe also features the SB Dunk’s original fat tongue, first added to the shoe when it was redesigned in 2001. The Nike and Parra effort will also include apparel, which hasn’t been revealed yet.
Nike and Parra’s design relationship dates back to 2005. After a ten-year break from working together, last summer they came together on a capsule that included a well-received Air Max 1 and Zoom Spiridon silhouette plus a nylon track jacket.
According to Black Sheep Skate Shop, the Nike and Parra SB Dunk and clothing will launch on July 26, 2019. As of now there aren’t any details on pricing or how the collection will be launched.
