Converse follows up with the launch of its sustainability-themed Converse Renew effort in June 2019 with its first product launch, a Chuck 70 High and Low that makes use of recycled denim.
Offered in three shades, light, medium and dark, the two silhouettes are part of the Renew Denim silo, which makes use of denim jeans diverted from landfills.
Converse Renew also includes Renew Canvass making use of recycled polyester while Renew Cotton transforms cotton canvas waste from the manufacturing process into a composite 40-percent recycled cotton with polyester yarn
Priced at $96 for the Chuck 70 High and $90 for the Chuck 70 Low silhouette, both shoes will drop on converse.com on August 22, 2019.
