With season one of “Euphoria” officially wrapped up, fans of the show can console themselves with the same hoodie that lead character Rue (played by Zendaya) wore as her own personal security blanket throughout the season. Offered in maroon, the hoodie is the same colors as Rue’s though it’s branded with the name of the series.
If you watched the show, you know the hoodie originally belonged to Rue’s father, who passed away from cancer sometime before the series begins. While Rue is shown wearing the cozy item throughout the season, viewers only discover in the final episode that Rue took it from her father’s bed after he died at home in his bedroom.
The meaning of the hoodie was embraced by Zendaya, who wore it after the finale in an Instagram post where she wrote, “Wore Rue’s hoody today, haven’t worn or washed it since we wrapped. Safe to say I’m deep in my feels lol.”
While the series has wrapped up, HBO confirmed in July 2019 there will be a second season. However, as of now it hasn’t provided timing.
