Bronx-native Remy Ma has a lot of admirable qualities though perhaps most of all is her commitment to no holds-barred analysis, a trait on full display in a recent episode of “State of the Culture,” a series she co-hosts with Joe Budden and Brandon Jinx.
Tackling the thorny subject of Budden’s recent visit to “Queen Radio” where host Nicki Minaj chewed him out for describing her as a drug addict, Remy took up for Minaj, defending her angry take down of Budden.
Remy explained, “Well it’s her show and if I can get somebody that’s been pissing me off for the past couple of years to sit there and tell them to shut the fuck up and make sure that they’re shutting the fuck up, and turning their fucking mic off, and black on them and know nothing is going to happen…Imma wild on you.”
The comments came as a surprise considering that just two years ago Remy and Nicki were exchanging highly personal diss tracks and have yet to repair their relationship.
