New York-based Slashed by Tia on Tuesday (July 30, 2019) presented a spring ’20 collection at the Prince George Ballroom in Manhattan where the label’s playfully feminine designs were lifted by a euphoric backdrop highlighting female artistry.
Styled by Bianca Arielle Bailey, the floaty ephemeral looks worn by models who posed alongside women painting in a room that included live parrots and music provide by hip hop violinist Bri Blvck. All told, the looks and their staging bring to the forefront designer Teni Adeola’s gift for creating designs that have us feeling like femininity is the thing to be.
Attendees included models Genesis Vega, Ebonee Davis, as well as Selah Marley and Dj Odalys among others.
