While there is a lot of talk about the rise of female rappers (and rightly so), part of their fast-rising trajectories has been aided by the support of female DJs, who are known for showing more support for music by women than their male peers. Along with setting music trends, female DJs are also known for their influential style game, one that’s ranges from high-octane sporty to super glam.
In recognition of the boss nature of female DJs, Los Angeles-based LOL Surprise has created a tribute doll. Named 24K DJ, the doll sports pink Afropuffs complete with babyhairs under a set of gold headphones. She’s outfitted in a gold cropped jacket and a sports bra detailed with a band with a repeat logo that reads, “LOL OMG.” For added authenticity, she has a popping manicure and a gold bar ring. 24K DJ is packaged with her little sister, whose name is (the highly original) DJ.
24K and her sister are part of LOL Surprise’s fall ’19 “Winter Disco” capsule, described as “full of sparkle, snow and glow.” Additional dolls in the fall ’19 collection include Snow Angel, Midnight, Cosmic Queen and Dollface.

Priced at $34.99, 24K DJ and her sister launched in early October and is now sold out. Have no fear though, the doll duo will be restocked in November on Amazon.
