Vancouver-based Lululemon makes a fashion statement with news of a coming partnership with London-based label Roksanda. The 16-piece collection blends Lululemon’s expertise on creating stylish activewear offerings with Roksanda’s artfully feminine aesthetic.
While Lululemon has done its fair share of collaborations, generally it has shown a preference for working on fitness-associated individuals and companies and has shied away from working with purely fashion-focused labels. Earlier this year, it collaborated with designer Robert Geller on a menswear collection so a second fashion partnership in one year may be signaling a change in attitude.
Lululemon and Roksanda’s silhouettes make a bold color statement with a cranberry, pink and gold color palette featured on items including a rework of Lululemon’s Define zip up jacket, as well as a tank top, leggings, sports bra, drawstring dress, hooded cape and puffer jacket, among other items.
Priced from $78 for a tank up up to $998 for a multifunctional coat, the collection will launch on October 22, 2019 on lululemon.com and in select Lululemon and Roksanda stores.
