Jewelry designer Melody Ehsani today (October 22, 2019) announced she and Red Hot Chili Peppers bass player Flea (real name Michael Balzary) married this past weekend (October 19 or 20, 2019). She shared the news on social media with an wedding day photograph showing herself in a white lace dress and Flea in an Undercover lilac tuxedo paired with Ehsani’s upcoming collaborative Jordan sneaker.
In the caption, Ehsani wrote, “This weekend I got to marry my best friend. Surely, my best collaboration to date 😁☺️you’re my whole heart @flea333 🥰♥️🥰”
On his own Instagram account, Flea wrote, “My life has changed forever and I am eternally humble and grateful. The person who sees all of me and knows who I am. My wife @melodyehsani ❤️❤️❤️”
The two have maintained a relatively low-key relationship with the first public images showing the two sitting front row at a Los Angeles Lakers game in January 2019. Six months later, the Daily Mail revealed images of the couple in New York, where Ehsani was shot wearing a Flea nameplate necklace and what appeared to be an engagement ring.
Flea was previously married to Loesha Zeviar with whom he has a daughter, Clara Balzary.
