Bajan-Boss Rihanna today (October 7, 2019) announced plans for her first visual autobiography. Simply titled Rihanna, the 504-page book is filled with 1,050 color photographs showcasing the ever-photogenic superstar throughout her professional life as a musician, designer and entrepreneur.
On Instagram today, Rihanna stated, “Over 5 years in the making… happy to finally share this collection of incredible memories. Thank you to all of the photographers and artists that contributed and to @phaidonsnaps for working with me to publish my first piece of art in a new industry!”
Published by the London-based Phaidon, the book will be offered in four different versions, three of which are accompanied by a book stand designed by The Haas Brother.
The standard version of the book is priced at $150, while the “Fenty x Phaidon” edition is priced at $175 and comes with a “This Shit Is Heavy” tabletop book stand. The “Luxury Supreme” book is a $5,500 numbered edition (11-1,000) and comes with a custom “Drippy + The Brain” tabletop book stand. Finally, the Ultra Luxury Supreme book, which is now sold out, is numbered 1-10 and signed by Rihanna. It is packaged with “Stoner,” a marble pedestal book holder.
