Adidas and Prada today unveiled part one of their much buzzed-about collaborative capsule, comprised of a white Superstar and bowling bag. The Superstar is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the Prada collabo is part of a multi-pronged marketing effort centering the classic shoe.
Footwear will be limited to a total of 700 shoes with each one stamped with a unique number. Made in Italy, the Superstar features a leather upper, a rubber shelltoe and is finished with the Superstar’s trademark serrated triple-stripe. A black version of the Trefoil and Prada logo is printed on the heel and tongue of the shoe while the black Prada logo is also featured on the side heel of the shoe.
The white Prada-inspired bowling bag is offered in a supple calf leather and receives an injection of sport with a nylon strap. The side of the bag is stamped with black versions of the Adidas Trefoil and Prada logos.
