While Nicki Minaj has been extremely low-key for the past few months, the Young Money rapper as of late has been slowly emerging from her social media time out. First came a single with Meghan Trainor, followed by news she will guest judge on the premiere episode of VH1’s popular “Drag Race” series.
In a preview clip, Minaj wearing a red, floor length sheer Rocky Gathercole gown, states, “I am Nicki Minaj and I pledge allegiance to the drag!” She later tells a contestant, “You look like a Barbie out of the box.”
Additional judges include show host RuPaul, along with Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews.
In the new season, 13 new drag stars will compete for a $100,000 prize on 90-minute episodes, followed by “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked” show, which captures behind-the-scenes shenanigans.
Look for the season premiere show to air on VH1 on February 28, 2020 at 8:00 PM EST.
