While Rihanna fans patiently await the release of her ninth studio album aka #R9, it’s possible they may receive a respite in the form of a PARTYNEXTDOOR (real name Anthony) single before then.
On episode 322 of the Joe Budden Podcast with Rory & Mal, co-host Rory Farrell hinted at the collaboration. Without naming names, he explained, “There may be one factor that Party has, and we’ll revisit this when the album comes out, that may push his shit over the top because there’s someone we’ve been waiting for.”
When Budden guessed Rihanna, Farrell said, “I didn’t say that.” Budden then responded, “Yea, there’s a Rihanna record on it. We know that already” and added, “Well I don’t know that but yea, that’s safe to assume.”
To the fans, I’m gonna need some more time to put the finishing touches on this album. February… I promise the extra time will be worth it

Originally planned for a January 2020 drop, PND’s album was recently pushed out by the Toronto-born artist to a later date. On Wednesday (January 29, 2020), the artist took to Twitter where he told followers, “To the fans, I’m gonna need some more time to put the finishing touches on this album. February… I promise the extra time will be worth it”
He also noted he had changed the album title from Club Atlantis to PARTYMOBILE..
Rihanna has been hitting the studio as of late and was recently spotted recording with Neptunes members Pharrell and Chad Hugo.
