Adidas and Prada continue their collaborative effort with the reveal of three new Superstar colorways: white/black (style code: FW6680), black/black (style code: FW6679) and silver metallic/white.
Just like the debut white/white drop (which also included a bowling bag), the shoe features a leather upper detailed with a dual Adidas and Prada logo on the tongue along with the Prada logo stamped on the heel of the shoe.
Limited to 700 pairs and launched on December 4, 2020, the debut Adidas and Prada white/white model sold out very quickly. And yet, sneaker lovers in general have been less than impressed than the collaborative design.
While it’s never easy to modify a shoe as iconic as the Superstar, it would seem two labels with world-class design teams could come up with something a bit more compelling than an exact copy of the classic shoe whose only identifying feature is the Prada logo stamp conspicuously on the side of the shoe.
If you still care, the three new colorways are priced at $450 each and you can anticipate the three new Superstar colorways will launch sometime in March 2020.
