M.I.A. has dropped a new track “OHMNI W2020,” a track that celebrates her well-received debut album Arular, released 15 years ago on March 22, 2005.
Signaling ongoing frustration with the industry, the song opens with the lyrics, “People been sleeping on me so much I feel like a mattress. They been giving too much credit to these girls that be actress.”
The London-born M.I.A. (real name Mathangi Arulpragasam) recently launched a Patreon channel.
