Quibi has released a trailer for actress/writer Lena Waithe‘s upcoming “You Aint Got These” series, which documents the history of sneaker culture. In the intro clip Waithe sets the tone when she states, “I think most people are mortals and they want to feel like gods. They want to feel sane and feel significant and the way to do that, is to put on a pair of kicks everybody wants.”
The clip includes appearances of Hasan Minhaj, Carmelo Anthony, Aleali May, Nas and Kerby Jean-Raymond, among others.
Quibi is making its programming debut on April 6, 2020 and is currently offering 90-day free trials.
