Model Shannade Clermont, half of the Clermont Twins, won her release from prison on Thursday (March 5, 2020) and was shown reuniting with her sister Shannon Clermont with an emotional video on Instagram. Ever the fashion plate, the 25-year-old Shannade walked out of prison in a Pyer Moss and Reebok coordinated top and sweatpants.
Originally sentenced to a one-year sentence for wire fraud, Shannade was set to be released on June 2nd but received a early release from FCI Dublin, a low-security, federal prison in Dublin, California.
Shannade was charged with wire fraud, along with access device fraud and aggravated identity theft. Given the charges, she was potentially facing a total of 42 years in prison. Shannade stole the identity and possessions of James Alessi, a man she described as her sugar daddy. Complicating the case, Alessi died from an overdose following her “prostitution date” at his Manhattan apartment on January 31, 2017.
While Shannade is now free, she is on parole for three years and will have to attend a treatment program, which tests for drugs and alcohol.
