Louis Vuitton provides a summer 2020 update to its Stellar low and high top sneaker for women with a new, transparent fabric story detailed with an all-over LV print in either noir or rose.
Made in Italy, the classic silhouette features a white rubber outsole and a white leather lace guard and heel tab. The high top version of the shoe is detailed with a side zipper, which adds some edge while also making them the shoes easier to put on and take off.
Not surprisingly the shoe has drawn some comparisons to Dior Oblique B23 silhouette, a popular range of sneakers first launched in 2019 that also feature a transparent fabric. Given both companies are owned by LVMH, it makes sense that a well-received trend is shared (within reason) among labels.
As of now, Louis Vuitton’s Stellar high top (34-42 French sizing) is only available through WeChat’s Mini Program, but it should launch globally within the next month.
