Congrats are in order for DJ and producer Diplo and model Jevon King who officially introduced their baby boy Pace to the world on Mother’s Day (May 10, 2020). King, who represented Trinidad and Tobago in Miss Universe’s 2014 contest, announced Pace’s birth in early March but didn’t identify Diplo as his father.
The 41-year-old Diplo (real name Thomas Pentz) also has a five and nine-year old son by former girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart. The baby is King’s first child.
In an Instagram post featuring images of his mother, Lockhart and King, Diplo wrote, “Thanks for giving me life and helping me create it – the three strongest mothers in the world.. I’m still a work in progress but u have given three perfect beautiful boys 🤍 I love you all til the moon and back.”
In a follow up post, Diplo noted he was hesitant to announce Pace’s birth because he hasn’t yet met him due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. On Instagram he explained, “I’m going to meet him as soon as we turn a corner on this world shut down.”
