Nike and Stüssy have officially announced the release of their latest co-created sneaker called the Air Zoom Kukini. The shoe is offered in two colorways black/bright cactus (CJ9918-001) and white/Habanero red (style code: CJ9918-100).
The laceless mesh upper shoe is distinguished by a plastic cage overlay, which complements the shoe’s cage-covered outsole. Additional details include a reverse Swoosh and Stüssy branding on the tongue.
Nike and Stüssy’s Air Zoom Kukini is also accompanied by a Benassi sandal offered in three colorways and a coordinated apparel capsule. Clothing items include a half-zip Windrunner track jacket and track pants, t-shirts, shorts and a bucket hat.
According to press on the effort, “Chapter 2 of the collaboration with Stüssy takes the brand new Air Zoom Kukini and Benassi Slides straight to the beach. Slip-on, slip off. The range of clothing is loose and complimentary; Stüssy classics like the bucket hat, beach pant and beach shorts are lightweight, quick-drying, and co-branded. The iconic Windrunner jacket is given an updated modern fit with a half zip. Go ahead, hit the coast.”
The Nike and Stüssy Air Air Zoom Kukini is priced at $170. The sneaker, sandal and apparel capsule will drop on at select Stüssy stores and stussy.com on July 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM PST. Subsequently, there will be a follow up launch on nike.com, though timing hasn’t been provided yet.
