Harlem-born creative Kerwin Frost took took Instagram where he previewed some pieces from an upcoming Adidas collaboration. Frost first announced the effort in January. At the time, he wrote, “Adidas has welcomed me to their family and I am going to be working with them for the next few years!”
Known for creating fantasy looks rooted in streetwear and runway fashion labels, Frost’s debut collection with the label includes a furry hoodie and pants as well as a full bodysuit.
Frost has described his collaboration with Adidas as “for the real weirdo motherf*ckers who were told they weren’t gonna be shit !”
While Adidas and Frost’s debut drop originally was planned for a 2020 launch, plans were upended by COVID-19 disruptions and moved out to January 2021.
Despite difficulties created by the pandemic, Frost did he best to help the Black Lives Matter movement with a charity event which raised close to $166,000 with a charity auction.
