Off-White and Louis Vuitton chief creative Virgil Abloh took to Instagram on Monday ( September 14, 2020) where he teased what appears to be a collaboration with Stüssy.
The t-shirt references Abloh’s “I Support Young Black Businesses” t-shirt which was first shown on Off-White’s January 2020 runway presentation as worn by tap dancer Cartier Williams who gave an opening performance.
The “I Support Young Black Businesses” tagline was subsequently announced as a fundraising effort with Abloh selecting a different organization to support with each drop.
In addition to the “I Support Young Black Businesses” tagline, the white t-shirt is co-branded with the original Stüssy logo along with a black and white photo graphic of the Great Sphinx of Giza.
Mixing up his labels, the t-shirt was shot alongside a Damier version of the Louis Vuitton plushie featured in the label’s spring 2021 menswear presentation.
