Italian luxury label Fendi has linked with U.K.-based creative consultancy and accessories label Chaos for a hyper glam capsule of tech-related accessories. Reflecting Chaos’ love of a flashy sexy statement, most of the 13 pieces are gilded in what’s described as a “diamond-effect gold finish” metal.
Among the two items not covered in gold is a 13-inch laptop made of black leather and covered in mink with an inlaid paisley wildlife motif.
London-based Chaos was founded in 2016 by Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall, who made their connection with Fendi vis-a-vis Karl Lagerfeld, who brought the duo on to assist with styling.
Following his death in February 2019, Stockdale and Lyall continued to work with Silvia Venturini Fendi, who leads creative direction for accessories and men’s. Meanwhile, the brand recently brought on Kim Jones to replace Lagerfeld and lead direction for women. Prior to forming Chaos, the duo honed their talents as stylists while working at British Vogue, i-D and Garage.
Ranging in price from $420 for a neck strap up to $1,980 for an iPhone pouch, all items are now on fendi.com. Offerings will launch at Fendi boutiques globally on October 20, 2020.
