Among it’s line up of vehicles, Cadillac‘s luxe Escalade SUV is perhaps its best known. Looking to provide a fresh new perspective for 2021, Cadillac put together a design team comprised entirely of women.
In press about the vehicle, exterior designer Therese Pinazzo stated, “Escalade has always made a bold statement that says you’ve arrived. We have updated that statement for a new era, adding layers of sophistication. The goal was to create a new Escalade that is unmistakable at a glance, and then rewards you with greater details on the second or even third read.”
Additional team members includes Crystal Windham, Cadillac interior design director, who became the first Black female director in GM’s history in 2008; Joanne L. Leddy, program manager for infotainment and displays organization; Michelle Killen, color and trim design manager; and Therese Pinazzo, Escalade exterior design manager.
The Cadillac Escalade 2021 goes on sale by the end of 2020 in North America with a price starting at $76,195.
