Nike and Ambush follow up on the mid-December SNKRS release of a Dunk High sneaker in a black and white colorway (style code: CU7544-001) with news that the previously-teased lethal pink (CU7544-600) pair is now in the queue.
First revealed in early 2020 as part of a celebration of the Dunk’s 35th anniversary, the Dunk High shoe features a leather upper and an extra-long tongue and a raised Swoosh whose tail extend past the back of the shoe.
According to Ambush designer Yoon Ahn, the extended Swoosh takes its inspiration from Bōsōzoku, a ’50s-era Japanese youth subculture associated with customized motorcycles.
Priced at $180, Nike and Ambush’s Dunk High in lethal pink is slated to launch on February 4 January 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM EST on SNKRS.
If you’re interested in purchasing the black and white pair, it’s now available on StockX.
