New York-based label Beloved as directed by David Chang has teamed up with fine artist Asif Hoque on a hoodie and t-shirt capsule. The artwork on the garments is pulled from Hoque’s painting The Engagement; A Duet of Lovers, a piece on exhibit in his recent “Lovers Rock” show held at Mindy Soloman Gallery in Miami.
Based in Brooklyn of Bangladeshi descent, Hoque currently has a solo show in Yossi Milo Gallery.
Priced at $250 for one of two hoodies and $75 for the t-shirt, the capsule is now available on belovednewyork.com.
