South Carolina-born designer Louisa Ballou presents a summer 2021 collection with a striking photoshoot featuring South Sudanese model Dosha Deng, photographed by Dominican-American photographer Renell Medrano.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Ballou launched the eponymous label in 2019 following work at Loewe and Vissla, a men’s surf brand.
Color-filled, and bold, the campaign perfectly expresses Medrano’s skill at capturing the beautiful and the sensual within her subjects.
The campaign was styled by Daniel Gaines, with hair by Evanie Frausto, make-up by Marcello Guttierez and nails by Nailglam.
