Following news of Billie Eilish collaborating on an Air Jordan 1 KO sneaker, rumors have surfaced that the 19-year-old popstar will also put her spin on an Air Jordan 15 SP silhouette. Thus far there’s only a mock up of the shoe via zSneakerHeadz, revealing an off-white upper and outsole.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 15 made its debut in 1999 and was NBA player Michael Jordan’s first shoe following his second retirement. The shoe’s design was inspired by North American X-15 is a hypersonic rocket-powered aircraft. The sneaker is distinguished by Kevlar mesh woven upper, an inner bootie, and Zoom Air in both the heel and the forefoot, while the shoe’s extra long tongue is a tribute to Jordan’s style of playing with his tongue out.
As of now, there’s not official word on timing or price for the shoe. Check out Eilish’s take on the Air Jordan 1 KO here.
