Spending some relaxing downtime in a pool, Doja Cat was chatting with her fans on Instagram Live on Saturday (February 19) when she may have inadvertently revealed a new love interest. While in the midst of addressing her fans, the voice of a male from outside the camera called out to her. Responding with surprise, Doja (real name Amala Dlamini) abruptly stopped and let the person know, “I’m on live.” After providing a knowing smile capped by a purr, Doja finished, “Okay guys, byeeee” and ended the live.
According to a tip provided to gossip site Deux Moi, Doja has a new boyfriend. The same tipster said she’s been dating him for a while and claimed she took him as her date to the Super Bowl.
While information on her new man is thin, there is speculation on Twitter that it’s French producer Pierre-Antoine Melki who is part of a duo called Sofly and Nius. Creating a point of connection, the duo produced StarBoi3’s May 2019 track “Dick” featuring Doja.
Doja’s last public relationship was with Johnny Utah, who she broke up with in February 2020. She was spotted at a birthday party for French Montana‘s lawyer in the Bahamas last month, but when fans began speculating he might be a love interest, she shut down the chatter, explaining they were working on new music together.
