They’re baaack! Nike and Off-White‘s Blazer low (style code DH7863-100) in white/university returns to the launch calendar after being pulled shortly after designer Virgil Abloh‘s death. The shoe features a white leather upper features cut out circles described by Abloh as meteor shower holes, a design element first introduced on Off-White’s spring 2020 women’s collection. Abloh also swapped out the back half of the Blazer’s low-key vulcanized bottom for a built out outsole extending beyond the heel.
Originally slate to launch on December 9, 2021, Nike quietly pulled the shoe from its launch calendar and also instructed retail partners to return the shoe following Abloh’s untimely death at the age of 41 on November 28th.
Priced at $150, the shoe will launch on April 8, 2022 on SNKRS and at select NHBD accounts on April 8, 2022.
