The brainchild of Florida-native Kenricka Occenad, Killd By Kill is an conceptual art project comprising of Occenad’s illustrations, animations and apparel. Titled “Always Knew I Had Super powers, the collection conveys the spirit of non-conformity and freedom of expression with one of a kind, handmade reconstructed garments featuring Occenad’s artwork and sewmanship.
In an Instagram post, Occenad writes, “The Characters I designed for this collection represent our real life superheroes. The people that are who they are unapologetically and reject the pressures placed in our society to conform.”
Established in 2014 with apparel launched three years later, Occenad has created illustrations and animations for rapper Duwap Kaine, singer Abby Jasmine, Buster Krine and Lunch Money Lewis to name a few.
