French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus took to Instagram where he revealed an upcoming JF1 sneaker collab with Nike, his sophomore effort with the brand. Jacquemus wore the shoe in a video celebrating the Met Gala, whose dress code was themed on Karl Lagerfeld‘s body of work.
The shoe is said to be the designers version of Nike’s Air Force 1, a black version of which briefly flashes on the screen during the video. While there are many details, the shoe features a mesh upper and mesh tongue detailed with a JF1 silver lace dubrae and leather aglets stamped with a Swoosh. Jacquemus wears a back JF1, but there the shoe allegedly will be offered in four additional colors.
While pricing isn’t yet available, Nike and Jacquemus’ JF1 is slated to launch during summer ’23.
