During a Renaissance World Tour stop in Amsterdam, Beyoncé previewed looks from her upcoming Adidas and Ivy Park “Paradise” capsule, said to be launching June 23, 2023. While Beyoncé and her dancers were exclusively dressed in hot pink looks, the capsule also features a tan and brown print.
The 41-year-old entertainer and her backup dancers wore the looks on Juneteenth as part of a collection of looks designed by Black creatives. The collection was co-designed with a team lead by Ruben Gonzalez, a senior designer at Adidas.
Commenting on the effort on Ig, Bey wrote, “I started designing this collection over a year ago. I was so
engulfed in all things RENAISSANCE and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie and the disco era. I wanted to do a modern twist using the signature IVY PARK neon and bring disco to the beach in this swim collection.
“I’m so happy to share this with you and even more proud to launch it for the first time on the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR. I’m proud to be among the very talented Black designers featured in last
night’s show to celebrate Juneteenth.”
Given Adidas and Ivy Park are thought to be ending their partnership this year, this could be the one of the final capsules.
