Paris-based label Coperni by Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant revaled a shoe and apparel collaboration with Puma on its spring 2024 runway, held during Paris Fashion Week. Looks were highlighted by a low-profile sneaker fusing the elegance of a dress shoe with the technology characteristic of a soccer cleat. Featuring a squared toe and shoe in black, yellow or white, the shoe features a textured upper detailed with raised overlays and dual logos.
Heiko Desens, Puma’s global creative director, shared his thoughts about the artful partnership, stating, “Coperni is a visionary, a futurist partner. We aspire to infuse innovation and cutting-edge technology into the world of fashion, a prospect that truly exhilarates me.”
Puma is not new to partnering with buzzy fashion labels like Coperni. Recently it linked with Ottolinger on a collection and in the past has worked with Ami Paris, KidSuper and Alexander McQueen.
The effort with Coperni stands out, however, because it marks just the second time Puma has collaborated with a fashion brand on an entirely new silhouette.
Puma and Coperni’s shoe and apparel collaboration will be available in January 2024.
