Swiss watchmaker Breitling has joined forces with designer Victoria Beckham to create a limited-edition watch: the Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham. Limited to 1,500 pieces, the watch combines Breitling’s reputation for timeless craftsmanship and Beckham’s distinct blend of feminine and masculine influences.
Taking inspiration from the label, the watch’s palette was inspired by Victoria Beckham’s spring 2024 color story. The four unique dial shades add a vibrant touch to the collection. Notably, the inclusion of both stainless steel and yellow gold marks a milestone, for Breitling with the introducing the first yellow gold model to the modern Chronomat lineup.
Commenting on the effor, Beckham in a press release stated, “I like what they have stood for as a brand for over a century. That’s always been very important to me when I’m investing in a watch for my own collection. I want a watch that I’m going to wear for many years and then pass down to my children.”
Designing watches presented unique challenges for Beckham, who acknowledged the constraints compared to designing a ready-to-wear collection. She embraced the limitations, stating, “I really enjoyed the challenge and the process of learning from Breitling how we could translate my vision into these timepieces.”
Priced from $5,600-$29,500, the Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham watches are available on breitling.com. The stainless steel iterations, priced from $5,600-$5,950, are limted to a run of 400, while the yellow gold versions are priced at $29,500 and limited to just 100 watches.
