New York-based Guizio, founded by Danielle Guizio in 2014, has opened its first boutique, marking a significant milestone for the designer. In celebration of the store opening, the label collaborated with Puma on a Speedcat silhouettes.
The flagship store, located on Greene Street in SoHo, was brought to life through a creative collaboration with interior designer Brandi Howe, who is known for her work on the Cult Gaia SoHo and Miami stores, as well as the Nodaleto boutique. The store features design elements such as travertine walls, polished marble floors, and bespoke custom furniture, all of which reflect the brand’s distinct aesthetic.
In an interview with Fashion Network, Guizio explained, “The store’s design draws from various aspects of my life, including a touch of nostalgia from my childhood bedroom. Signature Guizio colors, which have been a staple in our collections, are woven throughout the space. My goal was to bring our clothes to life, and this store is the true embodiment of the Guizio brand.”
Puma and Guizio’s Speedcat sneaker will available on September 11, 2024 at 81 Greene Street.
