Brooklyn-born rapper Leikeli47 is marking a new era by removing the mask she has become known for. She made the reveal alongside the release of new single “450,” which was accompanied by a video directed by Masoon Ahmed. The single is the debut track for Lei Keli Ft. 47, scheduled to be released on December 22, 2024.
Commenting on the big move, Leikeli47 shared, “It feels right. It’s time. The mask served its purpose, and now we move forward.” The single, she explained, is more than just a track, “‘450’ is my declaration of commitment to the people and this art form. I don’t just love what I do, I’m in love with what I do; and there’s no stopping me. I’m just heating up.”
Leikeli47 opens the video with the mask in place but early on in the video, provides a full reveal of her very gorgeous face. Known for her love of fashion, Leikeli47 in video sports a crystal-covered sweatsuit, a leather motor cycle jacket with fringe sleeves and an over-sized Celine hoodie. And at one point we catch a glimpse of her in a pair of Air Jordan 1 kicks, a brand she shouts out in the video’s credits.
