Los Angeles-based Cross Colours, founded in 1989, has joined forces with Black Radiance Cosmetics to launch a hip-hop-inspired makeup collection celebrating their shared Black American cultural roots.
The standout lineup includes a cassette tape-inspired eye shadow palette featuring eight matte, metallic, and shimmer shades, a microphone-shaped volumizing mascara in black and blue, and a multiuse palette with four creamy, vitamin E-infused colors for eyes and face. Rounding out the collection are metallic liquid lip glosses in bold pink, red, and purple hues, and a creamy ombre lipstick enriched with murumuru butter, vitamin E, and botanical oils.
“This collaboration allows us to engage a new generation while reconnecting with those who grew up with the culture,” said Cross Colours founder Carl Jones.
Priced between $8 and $15, the Cross Colours and Black Radiance collection debuts this Friday as an exclusive $89.99 kit on Amazon, with individual products hitting CVS, Target, Walgreens, and Walmart in January.
