In celebration of Marc Jacobs‘ 40th anniversary, Dior’s menswear artistic director, Kim Jones, has designed a limited-edition charm necklace.The piece features balloon-style CD and MJ initials paired with crystal pendants, evoking Marc’s enduring influence on fashion. “It reminds me of an era of Marc where he made the world shiny and bright, which he still does,” Jones shared with WWD. “Marc is a hero to so many people in fashion. He has pioneered so much for the fashion industry; there is a school of Marc Jacobs, with so many designers having worked with him and for him throughout his career.”
The necklaces retail for 1,500 Euros and will be available in 14 Dior boutiques worldwide, including the flagship at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Fifth Avenue in New York City, Harrods in London, and locations in Miami, Dubai, Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taipei.
