Nike has been celebrating its collaborative collection with Ambush as part of New York Fashion Week-related events, which included a private party in Manhattan attended by designer Yoon Ahn on Thursday (February 7, 2019).
Rumors are circulating that Nike is planning to restock the now-sold out apparel capsule (including the faux fur coats) and for the first time, launch the Air Max 180 bootie, whose packaging Ahn teased on her Instagram feed yesterday.
While some are saying this launch will take place at Nike SoHo, multiple employees at the store last night (February 8th) said this is not the case. Meanwhile, the NikeLab store while closed by the time I walked by, was holding a Ambush-related private party.
As such, if there is going to be a launch today (February 9th), it’s going to be at the NikeLab store at 21 Mercer Street in Manhattan. Whether or not the store is restocking the apparel is unknown because no one is saying peep.
If you’re not in New York or don’t want to wait on NikeLab’s often discombobulated lines, it’s a very good bet the Air Max 180 will see a second, wider launch within the month.
