Bajan boss Rihanna headed home on Tuesday (August 5, 2019) to partake in Barbados’ annual Kadooment Day parade, an event that celebrates the end of the island’s Crop Over harvest festival.
Rihanna celebrated the event in a pink feather-festooned creation designed by David Laport. Styled by Fenty head creative Jahleel Weaver, she paired the look with crystal-covered Gucci shades, Lynn Ban bracelets and pumps via Midnight00.
The look was a switch up from the skimpy bikini-themed costumes of her prior year Crop Over appearances. And while some opined she was taking a more conservative approach to appease her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, those who know Robyn Rihanna Fenty well, know that embracing the new is a big part of what fuels her.
