Nike builds on the strength in demand for its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker with a new silhouette called the Shadow, a shoe incorporating double-design features a la the brand’s efforts with Sacai.
Rooted in the ethos of Nike’s women’s 1s Reimangined program, the Shadow features a higher mid-sole and a lighter-weight outsole than the classic AF1, two adjustments translating to a silhouette that provides a lift without added heaviness.
For the inclement weather ahead, Nike introduces First Air Force 1 Shell, a zip-up boot style featuring what the brand describes as a water-resistant hooded jacket. The AF1 Shell launches November 1.
Finally, the fall line up also includes the Air Force 1 Reflective, a shoe mixing pebbled leather with 3M that provides additional visibility during the low-light months of winter.
Nike’s Shadow launches on October 3, 2019 while the Air Force 1 Shell arrives on November 1st and the Air Force 1 Reflective hits on December 1st.
