Detroit-native Dej Loaf (real name Deja Trimble) has dropped a new single and visual for “Bubbly,” her first new music of 2020. Produced by Derrick $horter, the smooth single celebrate’s Dej’s birthday (April 8, 1991) and is the first track from her upcoming third album, titled Sell Sole 2.
Formerly signed to Columbia, Dej let it be known she is now an independent artist. On Instagram she wrote, “So happy to be back releasing my music/vision INDEPENDENTLY! (Much Love to my team) So much goes on behind the scenes and I rarely speak on it because I’m still in it to win it! I didn’t want to release this record/album without getting in tune with my true fans again!”
In a second Instagram post, she added, “I haven’t felt this good physically and mentally in a long time! I can honestly say, this song and visual is a true reflection of DEJ “the artist” and, more importantly, “the PERSON! Throughout all of my trials and tribulations, getting back to my fans has been my guiding light ✨ Without yall I wouldn’t be able to do what I love! I’m forever grateful for this opportunity/position. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
