Comics Sasha Merci and Dee Nasty (real name Darlene Demorizi) have dropped the debut episode of “Like, Share, Dimelo,” a Fuse series in which the hosts take a humorous approach to debate a range of socially relevant topics.
Taking on the meaning of the descriptive Latinx, the first episode opens in a meeting in a corporate setting where Sasha and Dee have a telepathic exchange debating the meaning of the word and whether they should volunteer what they know with their colleagues.
The scene segues to a colorful living room setting where the duo break down the history of the word, how it’s evolved and whether or not it makes sense to apply a blanket description to all Spanish-speaking individuals.
Funny, engaging and real, the series presents a fresh vibe and perspective of two women with Dominican American roots rarely seen in the mainstream.We look forward to more!
