Los Angeles-born Ty Dolla $ign drops an official video for “Expensive” with a visual that celebrates living the lavish life. The single features a brunette Nicki Minaj, who makes a shoulder-up appearance in the video.
Minaj is currently expecting her first child with husband, Kenneth Petty. The 37-year-old rapper hasn’t said whether she’s pregnant with a boy or girl, not has she provided a due date.
Directed by Romain Laurent, the visual opens with Ty Dolla $ign (real name Tyrone Griffin Jr) greeting his beau who’s looking for help unpacking a truck overflowing with gift boxes.
What follows is a celebration of stacks upon stack of dollars, luxury labels, jewels and cars all housed in an epic Los Angeles mansion with a stunning view.
Last month, Ty released “Ego Death,” a Skrillex-produced single featuring Kanye West and FKA Twigs.
