Ambush designer Yoon Ahn took to Instagram today (September 30, 2020) where she provided a view of her collaborative Nike Dunk High on the foot. Describing the fit as “nice,” she added that the shoe will be offered in extended men’ sizing.
While Ahn modeled a black and white pair, in the past she’s also revealed a hot pink version of the shoe. The shoe is highlighted by a rubber Swoosh logos on each side of the shoe, which extends past the heel.
Nike and Ahn’s shoe was first previewed at Nike’s Future Sports Forum presentation in New York in February 2019. The shoe was part of a collection of collaborations created to celebrate the Tokyo Olympics. When the event was cancelled because of COVID-19, the shoes were put on ice. Recently, Nike has begun to role out the shoes included in the presentation, starting with Virgil Abloh‘s hybrid Rubber Dunk, released last week.
While there’s not information on pricing yet, Ahn says you can expect the shoe will launch sometime in December 2020.
