Founded by Abe Hassan (see an interview with her below), Nubian Skin is a lingerie label created for women of color seeking nude bras, panties and stocking to match their various hues of brown skin. Each item is offered in a four different colors–berry, cinnamon, caramel, cafe au lait–each of which reflect a different shade.
Almost shockingly there is no lingerie line that specifically addressing the neutral-colored lingerie needs of women of color so Nubian Skin fills what has been a long-hoped-for empty space.
