Los Angeles-based boutique Union Los Angeles as led by streetwear icon Chris Gibbs serves up another great collaboration, this time a Converse Chuck Taylor High sneaker featuring a Harlem toile designed by designer Sheila Bridges, a New York-based interior designer known for her distinct furnishing approach.
According to press, “The toile plays on African-American stereotypes while also celebrating African American culture taking the viewer through scenes of subjects jumping rope, playing basketball, dancing and having picnics, all in 18th-century attire.”
The Converse and Union Chuck Taylor All Star, pullover hoodie and bucket hat, each printed with Sheila Bridges’ Harlem Toile, will drop on October 13th at converse.com and select retailers.
