Milan-based luxury label Miu Miu kicks off the 2021 with news of a collaboration with denim label Levi’s. Described as an upcycled program, the effort was announced on Instagram where the label described it as “giving new life to pre-loved Levi’s denim.”
The image used to announce the collaboration shows a faded pair of jeans as well as a pink versions of Levi’s famed double-horse patch detailed with the Miu Miu logo. It also references Levi’s famed 501 silhouette.
The Levi’s announcement follows on the heel’s of the launch of Upcycled by Miu Miu, a collection of 80 one-off and numbered vintage dresses sourced from vintage clothing stores and markets worldwide.
As of yet, Miu Miu hasn’t provided pricing or timing for the Levi’s collaboration other than spring 2021.
