Vans teams up with New York designer Sandy Liang for a second time on a collaborative capsule starring the characters from Nickelodeon‘s much-loved SpongeBob SquarePants series. The collection is anchored by two versions of Van’s Sk8-Hi 38 DX sneaker, along with a co-branded hoodie, t-shirt and bucket hat featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles and Sandy Cheeks.
Liang first joined forces with Vans in early 2020 with a dope collection of sneakers and apparel highlighted by pink velvet and leopard fur versions of the shoe brand’s classic silhouettes.
Along side Sandy Liang’s collection, Vans will release an Old Skool sneaker detailed with SpongeBob and his pet snail, Gary, as well as hoodie, long-sleeve t-shirt, t-shirt and backpack.
Both versions of Vans SpongeBob capsule will launch on vans.com on June 4, 2021.
