Beaverton-based Nike and Off-White have revealed the first Dunk in their “Dear Summer” series, which include 50 iterations of the classic sneaker. The first shoe in the series features a white leather upper and aged rubber outsole, silver foil Swoosh and white laces. As the debut Dunk in the series, the sneaker is stamped with 01/50 on the outsole’s heel.
Details that have become a signature of the collaboration include a double-lacing system making use of celery green stays, an unfinished tongue and industrial lettering on the back of the upper referencing both brands.
Priced at $180, the shoe allegedly will launch sometime in fall 2021 on SNKRS and at select retail accounts.
